Welcome to another stats and records from the World Cup tournament, we shall be looking at some interesting stats from the semi finals between France vs Belguim and England vs Croatia with some help from opta stats.

Of cause it will be France up against resilient Croatia in the final on Sunday, while Belguim confront England in the less glamorous third place match on Saturday.

Nigeria might have been knocked out in the group stages, but somehow our stats round up begins with the Super Eagles, who should try to do better if anything can be deduced from the records.
