2018 FIFA World Cup: Super Eagles set for St. Petersburg hurdle


Nigeria’s Super Eagles will arrive in Saint Petersburg tonight (Sunday) from the team camp base at Essentuki for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Group D matchday three game against Argentina, Naijafootballplus.com can report.


The team contingent is expected to land in Saint Petersburg at 7pm local time (5pm Nigeria time).


“We are leaving our camp base in Essentuki for Saint Petersburg, we are getting ready for our third game against Argentina,” Super Eagles team media officer Toyin Ibitoye told Naijafootballplus.com.


Nigeria left Volgograd on Friday night after their 2-0 win against Iceland. The team resumed training on Saturday evening with all 23 players in good shape.


The team also trained on Sunday morning before departing Essentuki for Saint Petersburg.
