Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai of China striker Odion Ighalo has become the first Super Eagles foreign based player to arrive Nigeria in readiness for the all important 2018 world cup qualifier against Zambia.
Former Watford of England striker arrived Lagos on Friday morning around 10:30am.
He is part of the 23-man squad alongside fellow China-based Nigeria captain John Mikel Obi to be called up for the all important encounter against the Chipolopolo next month.
The in-form striker scored the first goal for Nigeria against the indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Uyo which ended 4-0 in favour of Nigeria.
Ighalo who has netted 12 goals for his Chinese club is expected to move to Uyo on Sunday in order to commence preparation for Zambia clash.
Nigeria currently lead Group B after picking up 10 points from four matches.
