The Super Eagles of Nigeria have concluded their 2019 AFCON qualifying campaign with a 3-1 win over Seychelles at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Odion Ighalo, Henry Onyekuru and Moses Simon were on target for the Gernot Rohr side in the dead rubber affair.
Ighalo opened scoring from the spot after Wilfred Ndidi was fouled in the area but the lead was cancelled out before halftime by Rody Melanie.
Five minutes into the second half, Henry Onyekuru restored Nigeria’s lead with a soft header while second half substitute, Moses Simon saw off the visitors with the third in added time.
Having secured qualification before the game, the Super Eagles secured top spot in group E, with 13 points from six matches.
They leave Libya and South Africa to slug it out for the remaining spot in the group on Sunday.
