Following the move of Shehu Abdullahi to Bursaspor, William Troost-Ekong has created time to welcome his compatriot to the team and the city of Bursa as a whole.
Abdullahi, who just completed a transfer move from Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta to Bursaspor, took to Twitter to announce the completion of the move.

He posted a picture of himself clad in all green colours of the Super Eagles with the emblem of Bursaspor embedded on the background with the caption: “It’s OFFICIAL! I’m happy to be here”.
Troost-Ekong then quoted the tweet and dropped the pleasantary “Welcome Bro”.
Abdullahi had previously bid an emotional farewell to the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium over the weekend in his last game for the club against Ethnikos Achna when he was made an honorary captain and he parted with a goal for a spot-kick as they secured a 3-1 victory.

He joined the Cypriot multi-sport outfit from Portuguese second division side Uniao Madeira in August 2016 and he quickly rose in admiration into a fans’ favourite playing 54 games with 4 goals.
Hopefully, the presence of Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu at Bursaspor will hasten the adaptation of the former Kano Pillars defender to life in Turkey.
