NLO to clamp down on ‘unqualified coaches’ – Ogunnowo


In readiness for the start of the Nigeria Nationwide League (NLO), chief operating officer of the league Olushola Ogunnowo has said unqualified coaches will not be allowed to sit on the bench this season.

His statement was contained in a communique he released on the twiiter handle of the league @theNLO on Tuesday.

The league which is scheduled to commence in March 2018 is believed to be characterised by poor technical inputs in the past and the management of the league has stepped up their bid to put a stop to it.

The NLO management has also mandated all clubs participating in the league to register more players below 19 years old in order to help the development of the game in the country.
