Russia premier league giants CSKA Moscow has officially confirmed the loan transfer of Super Eagles striker Aaron Samuel to another premier league side Amkar Perm until the end of the 2017/2018 league season.
The former shooting stars forward who joined the Russian side from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou RF struggled to tie down a regular starting shirt with CSKA.
With the resumption of the second stanza of the Russia premier league only less than two weeks away, CSKA on Thursday announced his move on their instagram page.
“Aaron Olanare will complete the season at Amkare. An agreement on the lease of an Army striker is calculated until the end of the current championship and does not imply a ransom”,it stated.
Samuel who will be joining two of his compatriots Festus Ogude and Brian Idowu will hope to use the loan move to relaunch himself back into the Super Eagles fold ahead of the world cup.
The burly striker might make his competitive debut for Amkar when they travelled to Zenit St Petersburg on March 3, 2018 when action resumes for the second round of the Russian premier league.
Amkar is presently placed in 13th position on the table with 21 points from 20 games.
