Abayomi attributes ‘players unity’ as recipe for MFM’s success story

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC goalkeeper, Abayomi Folarin believes unity among players, coaches and management of the club is the major reason the Olukoya Boys are riding high in the Nigeria Professional football League this season.

MFM have been playing catch up to leaders Plateau United for the most part of the NPFL season. They are 3pts behind Plateau United with seven matches remaining till the end of the season.
Abayomi who was part of the side that defeated Katsina United 3-2 on Monday attributed ‘players unity’ to the team’s good league showing.
“I still believe we still have the chance of clinching the NPFL title. The victory over Katsina United is a moral booster as the season is dwindling. Anything is possible since we aren’t going to sleep. It’s just a few points separating us with the leader and if they can slip up a bit, we can overtake them”, said Folarin to naijafootballplus.com
“I believe the Unity in MFM FC is awesome and worth commending. All the players are working together to achieve the same goal. The coaches and management are also striving to ensure we achieve our target. We are committed, determined and I think this important factors are keeping us going and we would try as much as possible to avoid distractions in our next games.
“The league is still very much open and who says we can’t win it for our fans. We have been getting the necessary support and we are motivated. We just need some luck and before you know it, we would become the champion‎”, he concluded.
MFM FC are second on the log with 52 points and will travel to bottom placed Remo Stars this weekend in one of Week 32 fixtures of the NPFL.
