We take a look at Saturday European football action, involving Nigerian players.
Super Eagles right back Shehu Abdullahi, scored from the penalty spot for Anorthosis Femogusta in their 3-1 win over Ethnikos Achnas.
Shehu converted the spot kick in the 59th minute, in what was Anorthosis second of the evening.
Defensive Midfielder for the Super Eagles Wilfred Ndidi, was on for 90 minutes in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Watford.
Ndidi had the opportunity to make it a hat trick of Nigerian goal scorers in the EPL Saturday fixtures, following Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi goal scoring feats for Chelsea and Arsenal respectively. He however fired straight at the Watford goalkeeper while clear on goal.
Striker Kelechi Iheanacho dropped to the bench and was an unused substitute, after his two goals heroics for the foxes in an FA Cup replay midweek victory.
Ahmed Musa continued his absence from the Leicester City first team, and is expected to move away from a failed venture in the Premier League.
There was no place for injured Isaac Success for Watford, but Italian born
Nigerian striker Stephan Okaka was sent on for the visitors in the 81st minute.
English born forward of Nigerian decent Jordan Ibe, started for Bournemouth
who were forced to a 1-1 draw by host West Ham.
Ibe was subbed off in the 62nd minute, but Italian born defender of Nigerian decent Angelo Ogbonna was on for 90 minutes and his long lobbed ball forward, was notched on by Anautovic for Hernández to score the Hammers only goal.
In the championship, Super Eagles full back Ola Aina and English born right back of Nigerian decent Fikayo Tomori, both put out a full shift for Hull City who were beaten 0-1 by Sunderland.
Former Super Eagles winger Sone Aluko clocked 90 minutes for Reading in
their 0-1 defeat at home to Brentford.
Super Eagles central defender Leon Balogun, was not in the Mainz 05 squad
that beat VfB Stuttgart 3-2 despite having a goal controversially ruled out for offside.
Chinese returnee Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah, was an unused sub for Mainz.
Over to the Volkswagen Arena where former flying Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, came on with 5 minutes left to play in home side Wolfsburg 1-3 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
German born defender of Nigerian heritage Felix Udoaki, was on for the entire duration for Wolfsburg who finished with 10 men.
Nigerian defender/central midfielder Uche Agbo, was not selected in the Standard Liege squad that won 3-2 at home to Eupen.

Super Eagles right back Tyrone Ebuehi started for Ado Deen Haag against
VVV-Venlo, despite being heavily linked to Portuguese giants Benfica.
