Following his invitation to the Nigeria Super Eagles team that will play Poland and Serbia in a friendly later this month, defender Shehu Abdulahi has appreciated Gernot Rohr for finding him worthy of an invitation.
The ex Anorthosis Famagusta defender is among the players Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr listed in a 28-man shortlist of players for the upcoming double header friendlies games against Serbia and Poland
The utility player who has played in all of Bursaspor’s games since he joined the Turkish Super League side expressed his delight at receiving a call-up on twitter.
Abdullahi thanked the Super Eagles coach, the Nigeria Football Federation and also Nigeria fans for their tremendous support for him.

Abdulahi played in all the qualifiers for the Super Eagles and he was even awarded Man of the Match against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
