Following his inclusion in the 30-man provisional list of Nigeria’s Super Eagles released on Tuesday by the team coach Gernot Rohr, Bursaspor defender Shehu Abdullahi has thanked the country football governing body.
Former Kano Pillars player has been part of the country senior men’s team since 2015 and also played vital role in the qualification for World Cup.
He expressed his gratitude to NFF, Gernot Rohr and media for the role played in his inclusion through his twitter handle.
“The journey started in 2015 when I made my debut. Ever since then, your tremendous
support have been amazing. I’m honoured to be listed in the World Cup provisional squad. Thanks @thenff, Gernot Rohr & @NGSuperEagles backroom staff. Thanks
Nigerian media!,” he tweeted.
Abdulahi has represented Nigeria at various categories of football and has been capped 21 times by Super Eagles.
