Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, ABS FC have agreed a new long term deal with Puma on Thursday, Naijafootballplus.com can report.
The kit partnership deal between the Saraki Boys and the German multinational company is for five years and worth millions of naira.
The agreement would see the NPFL side earn more benefits compared with the partnership deal with indigenous kits markers Owu Sportswear.
The official announcement of the deal put an end to the kit partnership between ABS FC and Owu Sportswear.
“We are happy for this partnership, it is the first of such with any NPFL side in the history of Puma. We are looking forward to the future and we target to be part of Nigerian football forever.
“ABS is one of the biggest club in Nigeria and we are excited to associate with them,” Puma brand manager in Nigeria, Aderemi Adefolabi said at the unveiling ceremony.
An elated ABS FC Football Director, Alloy Chukwuemeka divulged the deal is worth millions of dollars.
“This is an incredibly exciting and important deal. Puma is known around the world for it’s excellence and innovation and we look forward to working together in what is expected to be a successful partnership,” Chukwuemeka said to Naijafootballplus.com.
“I am happy Puma brand manager said they were attracted to our club brand and quality. The statement affirmed the professional standard and the structure at ABS. We have got policy for Youth development.
“The deal comes with a lot of benefits , merchandizing, technical assistants, exposure for our coaches and players. We can’t quantified the benefits in terms of naira but the deal worth millions of naira,” he added.
