Shooting Stars Sports Club new signing, Adebogun Omotayo is delighted to have completed his transfer from Enyimba International FC to the Ibadan based club.
The midfielder who re-joins the Oluyole Warriors in the mid season NPFL transfer window after a short stay with the Peoples Elephant believes he has made the right decision by moving away from the two time CAF Champions League winners to team up with Fatai Amoo at 3SC.
“This is a decision I have made and I’m delighted to have re-joined Shooting Stars. I’m here to make a mark and to take 3SC to where it belongs. Now the work has started and I can feel the good atmosphere here in Ibadan. I’m enjoying every minute,” Omotayo told naijafootballplus.com
Adebogun who has also played for Remo Stars and Giwa FC thanked the management and supporters of Enyimba and also sang the praises of his former manager, Gbenga Ogunbote.
“I really appreciate the management, supporters and the technical crew of Enyimba Int’l FC for their support during my stay at the team. I must also commend the effort of coach Gbenga Ogunbote whom I regard as a father because of the substantive role he’s played on me in my professional career. He’s a fantastic coach and there is a lot of stuff I really liked under him. I hope we can work together in the nearest future
“I can’t wait for the second stanza to begin because I’m thirsty for action. The coaches here are very wonderful and they are making efforts to turn things around for Oluyole Warriors. The players are in good shape and the fans should expect something positive from 3SC”.
