Agali returns to Super Eagles as Scout


Erstwhile Super Eagles striker Victor Okechukwu Agali is on his way back to the Super Eagles fold, if the reports coming from Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is to be believed.

Agali played for the Eagles between 2001 to 2004 and proved his mettled within that period scoring vital goals in the 2002 world cup qualifier.

The Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr on Monday told Nice news outlet Nice-Martin, that he is hoping to bring back Victor Agali in order to work as a scout and discover more talents for the country ahead of the world cup next year.

Agali worked with Rohr throughout the just concluded world cup qualifier campaign and the German coach wants to properly engage him.

This is not the first time the two will work together, as Agali has previously played under him at OGC Nice between 2004-2005 netting 6 goals in 30 appearances.
