Super Eagles invitee Uche Agbo has been listed as one of the toughest tacklers in Europe.
Despite his team Granada being relegated to the lower division in Spain, his performance did not go unnoticed.
According to the Watford Observer who conducted the research. The 20-year-old Nigerian holding midfielder won 77 tackles in 31 games for the relegated side last season, the fourth-highest number of any Under-21 player in any of Europe’s top five leagues.
The lists comprises of players under the ages of 21 plying their trade in major leagues in Europe. Only Bayer Leverkusen’s Benjamin Henrichs, Sampdoria’s Lucas Torreira and Dani Ceballos of Real Betis made more successful challenges.
Agbo won 66 per cent of his attempted tackles during the season.
Granada will compete in Spain’s La Liga 2 next season after they suffered relegation from the top flight last season.
