Super Eagles defender Uche Agbo opened his goal account for Belgian side Standard Liege in a 2-0 win over Genk on Sunday afternoon.
Agbo netted the second goal for Standard liege in the 83rd minute to put the match beyond their host who were fighting to claw back from a Paul-Jose M’Poku 15th minute first half strike.
Agbo has been playing as a defensive midfielder for Standard Liege since joining from relegated LaLiga side Granada over the summer.
The win lifts Standard Liege to 6th on the table with 23 points after 6 matches, a point above Simon Moses’s Gent.
Agbo will be up against Super Eagles team-mate Henry Onyekuru on Wednesday in a cup match next week.
