Agu on target, Ekong stays solid at the back as Bursaspor get big win

It was a memorable Sunday afternoon for Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu, in Buraspor 4-0 win over Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super League.

Agu opened scoring for the home side in the 39th minute, in what was a cagey first half encounter.

But their job was made less difficult when Brazilian Sandro, was sent off on the stroke of half time for the visitors.

The extra man advantage was maximally utilized by Buraspor, as goals from Behich 46′, Kembo-Ekoko 70′, and Batalla in the 90th minute turned the tie to a parade.

Agu has now scored 2 goals in his last 3 games for Bursaspor, having made 10 appearances for the side he joined on loan from FC Porto.

His National teammate William Troost Ekong, was ever solid at the back with
precise tackles and good reading of the game.

Both players lasted the entire 90 minutes of the encounter.

The Nigerian duo will come up against fellow country man Kenneth Omeruo,
when they face Kasimpasa next Sunday.
