Paul Aigbogun and Abdullahi Biffo have emerged as favourites to take over the vacant coaching role at Enyimba International, Naijafootballplus.com can exclusively report.
Aigbogun who has previously worked at Enyimba in 2016 and a former Warri Wolves manager arrived Nigeria from his base in the United Kingdom on Sunday night.
Biffo’s contract wasn’t renewed at Abia Warriors despite the Umuahia based club having survived relegation on the final day of the NPFL 2016/17 season.
Naijafootballplus.com source inside the Two-time African champions camp revealed that Aigbogun will be the head coach while Biffo will be named as his assistant if all parties reach an agreement later today (Monday).
“Biffo has arrived in Aba and Aigbogun has also arrived Lagos yesterday night. Aigbogun is expected to touch down in Aba later today and negotiations will be concluded, the source said to Naijafootballplus.com.
“Barring any unforeseen disagreement between all parties, Enyimba will make an official announcement in few days time. Aigbogun will be the head coach while Biffo will assist him.”
