Just as the Nigeria Aiteo cup hit the second round this weekend, Nigeria Super Eagles and Bursaspor defender, Shehu Abdulahi, has offered N100,000 for each goal scored by Sokoto United.
Sokoto United will take on Kano Pillars on Sunday in the Round of 32 of the Aiteo cup.
Abdulahi started his professional career with Sokoto United before moving to Kano Pillars.
The player revealed his support via his twitter handle on Thursday.
“Dear Sokoto United. Ahead of your @aiteogrp game against @pillarsfc this Sunday, I’m supporting the team with N100k per goal. Emotional feelings for me, I started my career with home club, Sokoto United before joining @pillarsfc. Both teams face off this weekend @thenff ”
Meanwhile, the versatile player has resumed training with Bursaspor after recovering from injury sidelined him for few weeks.
Abdulahi missed Nigeria AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles last week due to injury.
