Ajagun increases goal tally in Kortrijk FC huge win

It was a good day at the office for Abduljaleel Ajagun in the colours of his Belgian club Kortrijk FC as he scored a goal in their 4-1 drubbing of Waasland-Beveren in the League playoffs on Saturday.

It all started in a frenzy when Teddy Chevalier opened scoring for Kortrijk with just 3 minutes on the clock, but Cherif Ndiaye came through with the equalizer for visiting Waasland-Beveren to set up an interesting proceeding.

Chevalier grabbed his brace 10 minutes later to restore the lead for Kortrijk to the delight of the home fans, before Idir Ouali scored the third for the host on the stroke of halftime to put daylight between them and Waasland.

Ex-Flying Eagles star, Abduljaleel Ajagun scored the only goal of the second half to make it 4-1 in favour of Kortrijk in the 73rd minute.

The former Dolphins FC player has now scored five goals in all competitions for Kortrijk this season as he continues to establish himself since leaving Roda JC of the Netherlands, to Belgium in the summer of 2017.

Adjagun has remained an ever present for Kortrijk, playing 27 games and starting 25 of them, just subbed off on 8 occasions.
