In readiness for the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff fixture against Nigeria’s Aiteo Cup Champions Akwa United, Sudanese Premier League side Al Hilal will arrive Nigeria on Sunday.
Despite the CAF rules that stipulates that a travelling team must consists of 18 players and 7 officials, the former Sudanese champion will hit Lagos with a 33 man delegation consisting of 22 players and 11 officials.
Al Hilal holds a 2-0 first leg advantage and will be looking to protect their lead at the Godswill Akpabio stadium on Wednesday.
The advanced party lead by Hassan Taha will storm Uyo on Saturday to make hotel reservations and other logistics.
Akwa United on the other hand are leaving no stone unturned and have intensified training in order to upturn the results.
They must score three unreplied goals to have any realistic chance of progressing to the group stage of the competition.
