Osun United diminutive midfielder, Alaji Rasaq says the Osogbo team are well prepared for a show down against Nnewi United in the Bet9ja Nigeria National League match day six encounter at the Osogbo city stadium this weekend.
According to Alaji, the players are determined to record another home victory thereby maintaining their one hundred percent home record as they welcome 14th placed Nnewi United
“We give glory to God Almighty for the result we had against First bank of Lagos on Wednesday at the Onikan waterfront stadium. It was our first away point this season and it will serve as motivation factor to our quest of getting a promotion ticket at the end of the season.
“Our attention has now shifted to the next match against Nnewi United as we hope to record another victory for our fans. They have been very supportive and always cheer us to victory. We need their maximum support today and forever and we will try our best to give them the NPFL ticket (promotion).
“The players are aware of our position on the table and we are ready to show maximum commitment in a bid to secure one of the promotion tickets in the Southern conference and by the grace of God, we shall not fail,” said Alaji to naijafootballplus.com
The former Gray int’l midfielder promised to always work hard to attract the attention of the fans and technical crew as he believe the people of Osun have the passion and love for football and it will be a great achievement if they feel the excitement in the top flight division.
“I will always do my best for Osun united at all times and hope my best will be good enough and noticed by the fans and so as to attract interest for bigger or foreign teams because that is the dream of every player.
