After superlative performances for Scottish championship winners, Hibernian FC, former Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose is already considering a permanent offer placed in front of him by the manager of the team, Neil Lennon.
The Super Eagles defender has proven himself in the heart of the Hibs defence with outstanding displays that earned him one Championship player of the month award.
Ambrose whose contract will expire with parent club Celtic at the end of the season was approached by Hibs manager a month ago but turned it down deciding to wait untill the end of the season.
“He (Neil Lennon) wants me to stay here, but we will see what the future holds. My agent will speak to the club and you never know what is going to happen.
“Of course, I’d consider staying with Hibs, because the fans showed me love and I enjoy working for the manager,” he said.
Hibernian emerged championship champions claiming 71 points in 36 games and they will compete in the premier division next season.
