Super Eagles striker Shola Ameobi has signed a contract extension with English League Two side Notts County.
Ameobi, who was part of Super Eagles team that took part in the last FIFA World Cup which held in Brazil in 2014, moved to Meadow Lane in February as a free agent.
Manager of Notts County, Kelvin Nolan confirmed Ameobi’s signature on the club website.
“Not only did Shola make a huge impact on the pitch and in the dressing room, but he is also a big hit with our supporters. When a player of his quality and experience decides he wants to stay, it shows you are doing something right as a football club,” said Nolan.
Ameobi scored 4 goals in 17 appearances for the club.
