Amokachi hopes for coaching role at Everton


Former Super Eagles and Everton forward Daniel Amokachi has stated his desire to one day be the coach of the Toffees if given the opportunity.

Amokachi who played for Everton in 1995 and even helped them win the coveted English FA Cup made his intention known while speaking to Skysports on Monday.

“I definitely would like to come back too,” the 44-year-old former Super Eagles assistant coach told Skysports UK.

“It is all about timing. When the opportunity comes then why not? Life is a beautiful thing.”

Amokachi is in London for the Star Sixes tournament where Nigeria were knocked out by Spain. His twin sons are currently undergoing a trial at Everton.
