Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe is rumoured to be on the move to Bolton Wanderers.
Anichebe who has been unattached since he mutually terminated his contract with the Chinese side Beijing Enterprise netted 3 goals for Sunderland last season.
Former Dream IV striker hit the limelights when he broke into the first team of Everton in February 2006, as a substitute in the 89th minute of Everton’s FA Cup 4th round tie against Chelsea, replacing Simon Davies.
He signed his first professional contract with Everton, a two-year deal, in April 2006.
He went ahead and made 131 appearances for the Toffees and netted 18 goals.
The Sunderland Echo revealed the Trotters approach of the former West Bromwich Albion player.
Anichebe played 11 games for the Chinese side and scored 1 goal before the club decided not to renew his contract.
