Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe could do nothing to stop his Sunderland team from getting relegated to the lower division after losing 0-1 to Bournemouth Saturday afternoon.

Anichebe was on from start to finish as coach David Moyes deployed three strikers to no avail.

In the same game Jodarn Ibe was an unused substitute for Bournemouth during their impressive win.

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was in his diminutive best for Leicester City who secured a 1-0 win over West Brom away from home. Ndidi lasted the 90 minutes of the encounter.

Meanwhile Ahmed Musa was not named in the travelling squad of Leicester City, almost confirming his future away from the foxes camp.
