Former Dream Team VI striker Taiwo Awoniyi was absent on Saturday as Zulte Waregem trounced Royal Mouscron 5-1 in the Belgian Jupiler league play off.

The all action forward was ruled out due to a minor injury sustained prior to the game.

Awoniyi who made the Jupiler Team of the Week last week was in the stands as Hamdi Harbaoui netted four goals with Davy De Fauw scoring in between to condemn Mouscron to one of their heaviest defeat this season.

Teddy Mezague scored a consolatory goal for Royal Mouscron.

Taiwo Awoniyi, on loan from Liverpool, has been outstanding since he joined the Belgian side last summer.

He should hopefully be fit enough to return to the team ahead of their next game.
