It was an action packed weekend of football for Nigerian players based in Europe. As they posted varying performances and recorded different outcomes with their teams.
Here is a scorecard of Super Eagles players and prospects we monitored.
In the English Championship, Super Eagles number goalkeeper Karl Ikeme was out injured for Wolverhampton Wanderers who lost 3-1 away to Bristol City.
Sone Aluko lasted all 90 minutes for Fulham who defeated Ipswich Town 3-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Meanwhile in Austria, Super Eagles debutant Kayode Olanrewaju, was on target for Austria Wien who lost 2-1 at home to SKN St. Poelten. Kayode scored in the 21st minute but his goal was not enough to prevent a defeat for his side.
Now to Belgium where another striker constantly knocking on Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr’s door, Henry Onyekuru scored again for Eupen in their 2-0 win over Royal Excel Mouscron.
It was his first goal in the Belgian playoffs and his 14th goal of the season.
In Germany, Leon Balogun continued his spell on the Mainz bench as they lost 0-1 away to Freiburg.
We hit the Netherlands, where another Super Eagles defender Tyrone Ebuehi lasted 90 minutes at right back, as his Ado Den Haag team walloped Groningen 4-2. It was the light skinned defender’s 25th appearance of the season.
In Scotland, Efe Ambrose made his seventh appearance for Hibernian in their 1-1 draw against Greenock Morton.

Playing his 27th game of the season, super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi played for 76 minutes for Trabzonspor who lost 3-4 to Besiktas.
Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo was pivotal for s Alanyaspor who defeated Gaziantepspor 3-2 away from home.
