Nigerian International striker Bartholomew Ogbeche, is back kicking the ball again after an eight months injury layoff.
Ogbeche 33′ suffered a cruciate ligament injury playing for his club Willem II on January 15, 2017 in an Eredivisie game against NEC Nijmegen., that left him on the sidelines for such a lengthy spell.
But Ogbeche completed a 30 minutes game time against Club Brugge, in a club
friendly match during the international break.
Ogbeche was a member of the Super Eagles team that played in the 2002 world cup co hosted by Japan and Korea. He played in the group stage matches against Sweden and and Argentina, with both games ending in defeats for Nigeria, before missing the 0-0 draw against England in what was the group of death.
Ogbeche has scored 2 goals from 18 appearances for Willem II.
