After agreeing to work as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League club El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri for the next two years, heaven seems to be smiling on the career of Imama Amapakabo career once again.
The former Rangers coach who was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon was given a personal car gift by Borno State governor Kashim Shettima at the State government house late on Tuesday evening
Governor Shettima gave the car to the gaffer for agreeing to switch to Maiduguri and oversee the affairs of the club.
The coach is expected to better the lot of the club next season after they finished in 6th position despite being in touch with the top 3 throughout last season.
Amapakabo led Rangers International to their first league trophy in more than three decades in 2016 and has been out of work since he left the club last season.
