CAFCC: Cara crushes Enyimba

It was a day to forget for Nigeria remaining representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba International as they suffered heavy 3-0 defeat in far away Brazzaville, Congo against Cara Brazzaville.

The People’s Elephant started the game on a wrong footing as they conceded three goals in less than 20 minutes of the encounter.

Former African champions was beaming with confident after winning the first game 2-0 against Djoliba of Mali and that joy was cut short early in the game.

After 10 minutes of ding dong affair Racine Lobamba broke the deadlock in the 14th minute before Cabwey Kivutuka doubled the lead in the 17th minute.

Dicha Liema completed the rout in the 19th minute leaving Enyimba struggling throughout the first stanza.
Enyimba up their game in the second half searching consolation but the Cara Brazzaville defender stood their ground to claimed their much deserved win.
The win catapulted Cara Brazzaville to the top of the table pending the outcome of the game between Williamsville AC and Djoliba. Williamsville will be the next opponent of Enyimba in July.
