Enyimba attacking midfielder, Freedom Omofoman, says that Enyimba’s CAFCC game against Energie FC in calabar this weekend is a must win.
The former Warri Wolves attacker who joined Enyimba this season after a stint in Finland, revealed that he has set his sights on making an impact at Enyimba and returning to Europe in the near future in a chat with naijafootballplus.com
“This is my first year with the team and I’m doing the best I can which I know with time will make a great impact to the team.
“My target is to help my team achieve our goals this season, score goals and possibly go back to Europe to play my football again” he said.
He pointed to the oriental derby defeat as a wake up call to he and his teammates and tagged their continental fixture a must win.
“All I can say about that game (vs Rangers) is for us to step up our game and start to get things right not giving room for mistakes because it was just a simple mistake that cost us that game. I know my team (Enyimba) is a better side than Rangers.
“Our CAF Confederation Cup game against Energie FC this weekend is a must win and we are not taking them for granted because they are a good side as well so we are giving all our best to win the game come this Sunday” he added.
He concluded with his targets for Enyimba in the continent this season.
“We will go as far as we can if we keep winning our games I know we will go very far because we have all it takes to achieve that both from the players and management and most especially our management who are doing everything possible to make sure we get the best and win games.
“In all I can think of my team as equal to the task because we have our own targets this season and continental success is one of them” he told naijafootballplus.com
