
The first round opponent of Nigeria second team in the CAF Confederation cup campaign, Enyimba international FC has emerged.
Seven-time Nigeria league champions who were drawn bye from the preliminary round will face Beninoise side Energies FC in the first round of the tournament.
Energies FC qualified for the first round after they sent out Guinean side Haifa after two-legs of the preliminary round played on Tuesday evening in Conakry.
The Benin Republic side who had earlier won the first leg 1-0 at home, progressed with 2-1 aggregate scoreline.

After sending out the Guinean side, they will hope to overcome the former African Champions when they host them on March 6, 2018.
The return leg is slated for a fortnight at the UJ Esuene stadium the adopted home of the People’s Elephant.
Enyimba were previous winners of the CAF Champions League in two occasions – in 2002 and in 2003 but have never won the CAF Confederation cup.
