CAFCC: NPFL quartet get match officials


As the first leg play-offs of the CAF Confederation Cup approaches, the continent  football governing body has announced the officials for the matches.

Last season’s league runners up, MFM FC will have Egyptian referee Ghead Grisha in charge when they host Djoliba FC of Mali.

The Egyptian was at the centre when Nigeria’s Super Eagles took on the Chipolopolo of Zambia in the first leg of Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier in Ndola.

Redouane Achik (Morocco) and Waleed Ahmed Ali (Sudan) will assist Ghead Grisha.

Enyimba international who will travel to South Africa to face Bidvest Wits will have Joshua Bondo of Botswana as the centre referee.

The Botswana official took charge of the Super Eagles clash with the indomitable Lion of Cameroon at the Goods will Akpabio stadium in Uyo where Nigeria thrashed them 4-0.

He will be assisted by Chadreque Manrengula (Mozambique) and Godisamang Oamogetse (Botswana).

Victor Miguel of South Africa will take charge Plateau United face USM Algers in the first leg of the competition slated for Nigeria and receives back up from compatriots Johannes Sello and Athenkosi Ndongeni.

When Akwa United visit Sudan to face El Hilal they will have Jean Jacques Ndala (Cape Verde) as the centre referee and he will be assisted by Oliver Safari and Manpansi also from Cape Verde.
