Champions Chelsea chase new record as Aina makes substitute appearance

Chelsea made 9 changes to the team that secured the EPL title on Friday against West Brom as they put out Fringe players in Monday night’s EPL match against Watford at Stamford Bridge.

Victor Moses was rested, in a match that produced 7 goals with Chelsea scoring another dramatic late winner to edge Watford 4-3.

Super Eagles prospective defender Ola Aina came on as a second half substitute replacing Brazilian Kennedy at left back.

With both sides sitting comfortably at the top ( Chelsea ) and mid table ( Watford ), Chelsea had more motivation to win as they chase the record of the highest win in a single season.

Chelsea has the existing record of Most wins in a season (38 games): 29 wins (2004–05 ), (2005–06 ) under Jose Mourinho and the win over Watford
equals the previous records.

Another win in the final round against Sunderland next weekend will ensure
they set a new record of 30 wins in 38 games.
