If the assertion of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Franco-German coach Gernot Rohr is anything to go by then, Nigeria born, Chelsea prodigy Ola Aina will make his competitive debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in June by the time they confront Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a 2019 AFCON qualifier.
Aina who has represented the junior Three Lions at all levels trained with the Eagles at Barnet, England with hope of making his debut in the game against Burkina Faso before the match was botched due to logistics reasons.
Speaking in Lagos yesterday, Rohr said that: ”We have committed time in finding full backs.
”We have an option in Ola Aina of Chelsea, who has committed to Nigeria.”
“He trained with us and we hope to have him in camp in France ahead of the Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa.”
