Fans of Rangers International Football Club should expect to see the club feature in the Group stage of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Flying Antelopes were 2-1 winners away to Bantu FC of Lesotho in the first leg of the playoff stage of the competition and defender Chidera Eze believes it is all done and dusted ahead of the second leg on Sunday.
Speaking to Rangers media upon arrival from the first leg on Wednesday, a confident Eze said the hard work has been done in Maseru and it should be smooth sailing in the return leg in Enugu.
“It wasn’t an easy task,” said the forward turned defender.
“We played a very good game and Bantu FC of Maseru played a very good game but God was on our side so we were able to get something.”
Chidera Eze called on fans of the club to troop out in their numbers to cheer the team in the second leg, assuring victory will be theirs.
“They should expect the same result we got away, because this is our home and we won’t relent.
“We’re going to keep pushing because at the end of it, we’ll crown the whole thing with victory and move to the next level.
“It is done and dusted and settled by God’s grace.
Bantu FC is expected to hit Enugu on Friday for the CAF Confederation Cup Playoff second leg.
