Croatia V England fallout: Dalic thanks the whole World


Following their semi final victory over England, Croatia coach Zlatco Dalic has thanks everyone who supported them all through.

Croatia on Wednesday thrashed former champion England 2-1 to qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup final for the first time in their history.

The European side who defeated Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the opening group game 2-0, has to fight back from a goal down to clinched the win.

Croatia who scaled through the round of 16 and quarter final through hard work went behind as early as 5th minute with a sublime free kicks from Kieran Trippier.

Inter Milan Ivan Perisic beats Kyle Walker to the ball in the box to level the game in the second half before Mario Manzukic ended the hope of the Three Lions in the Extra time period.

Croatia coach Dalic reacted after the game appreciating the entire World for the win.

“It wasn’t me, it was the boys who did it. The way they played, how they fought, it is truly historical. Thank you to them, to the supporters here in Moscow and in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole world.”

Croatia will face Les Bleus of France in the final on Sunday to determine the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
