Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo looks to have reached top form for his Chinese Super league side Changchun Yatai ahead of Russia 2018.

The former Watford striker who netted four goals last weekend fired a brace on Sunday as Yatai defeated Shanghai SIPG 2-1.

Ighalo opened scoring in the 14th minute with an assist from Zheng Jiang but Shanghai fought back and leveled the scores in the 41st with a fantastic finish from Lei Wu.

The second stanza resumed with host Yatai dominating possession and putting Shanghai on the back foot.

The lanky striker hit the back of the net again in the 69th minute to put Yatai in the driving seat once again.

Brazilian international Hulk had the opportunity to leveled the scoreline for Shanghai SIPG in the 77th minute after the referee awarded them a penalty but he missed the spot kick.

Changchun Yatai has now recorded back to back victory with Ighalo scoring 6 goals in 2 matches and 7 in the season.
