Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo extended his sparkling form for his country in the past week to his club on Sunday for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League.
Shenhua on Sunday Morning secured a 1-2 away win against Henan Jianye in a fiercely contested game.
The Former Watford forward was cautioned in the 25th minute before he opened the scoring in the 52nd minute of the encounter.
Zhuoyi Feng leveled the game for Henan in the 83rd minute, before Brazilian striker Geovani Andreas Moreno, netted the winning goal in the 88th minute and secured maximum points for the team.
Ighalo has now scored for Shenhua in two consecutive games.
He emerged the second top scorer in the league for relegated Changchun Yatai last season with 21 goals.
