Rivers United forward, Daniel Israel has called team-mates to capitalize on woeful performances by Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC when both sides clash in week 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The Ilorin based outfit are without a win their last four matches. They lost 4-2 last time out at home against Sunshine Stars.
Meanwhile despite being knocked out of CAF competitions, Rivers United won their rescheduled game against MFM FC in midweek and would hope to compound the woes of ABS FC according to Israel Daniel.
“We are in Ilorin to win this duel against ABS FC. We know it’s going to be a very tough game because they need this match to regain their confidence but they won’t get that against us,” Israel told naijafootballplus.
“We have become the wounded lion since our exit from the continental championship. The season is going gradually and it’s high time we separated boys from men. I think jungle has matured now. We must finish the season on a high and try to do well in Federation Cup because we need to get back to continental football next season.
“Victory against MFM FC is a moral booster for us. We are so motivated and that every game would now be played like a final. We must achieve our set goal for this season. We are confident of getting a positive result against ABS FC on sunday”, the former Prime FC of Osogbo divulged.
