Sunshine Stars of Akure coach Duke Udi says he is “happy” to have committed to a new deal with the Nigeria professional Football League side.
After he steered the Akure based team out of relegation to safety last season, Udi confirmed he has signed a new deal with the club on Tuesday via Twitter
The former Sunshine Stars and Super Eagles player, promised to “fight” and give his best ahead of the new 2017/2018 NPLF season.

“I am happy to have committed to @SunshineFCAkure by signing a new contract yesterday, we will fight and give our best as thr new season approaches. #fight #hope,” he tweeted.
Under Udi, Sunshine recorded the best away record last season with three away league wins. The team finished in 10th position with 54 points from 38 matches.
