Ahead of the pre-world cup friendly between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and their counterpart from Poland draws closer, the Nigerian camp is already bubbling with life and players are gearing up for the tie.
The team trained twice on Tuesday and have the same schedule for Wednesday, before Thursday’s training at match time inside the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw. The match kicks off at 8.45pm (Nigeria and Poland are on same time zone) on Friday.
As the players are put through their paces the atmosphere remains that of camaraderie with the players showing excitement to be in camp.
Super Eagles regular, Shehu Abdulahi is excited to back with the national team and he displayed the excitement via his twitter handle on Tuesday .
In his tweets, “Always a pleasure to be reunited with my 🇳🇬 🦅 #roadtorussia2018 pic.twitter.com/iQMO5vlkBs” he tweeted.
Former Kano Pillars defender Stephen Eze who was invited to the team following his superlative performance in the CHAN competition played in Morocco earlier this year, also reacted to his invitation to the team.
“At the Super Eagles camp in Wroclaw as practice sessions begin for friendly against Poland. The vibe in the camp is bustling and it’s an honor to be a part of many great talents,” he wrote on his instagram.
Eze might make his debut for the Super Eagles A team when they take on Poland on Friday in Wroclaw.
