Four Nigerians started in the Turkish Super league game involving Kasimpasa and
Buraspor which ended in a pulsating 2-2 draw.
Defender Kenneth Omeruo and striker Emem Eduok started for Kasimpasa,
while Super Eagles duo of defender Troost Ekong and midfielder Mikel Agu started for Bursaspor.
The Nigerian Turkish reunion produced a goal for former defunct Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt striker Emem Eduok in the 32nd minute for Kasimpasa, before Ghanaian player Mensah doubled the lead in the 37th minute to go into the break looking like a forgone encounter.
However, a 57th minute red card to Kasimpasa’s Egyptian star Trézéguet changed the course of the game to Bursaspor’s favour.
Bursaspor had to wait until the closing moments of the game to break the hearts of hard fighting Kasimpasa with goals from Ersoy in the 89th minute, and a Behich 93rd minute equalizer to seal a breath taking come back result for Bursaspor and heart breaking equalizer for Kasimpasa.
Mikel Agu was pulled out in the 46th minute for Bursaspor while his teammate, Troost Ekong lasted the duration of the entire game.
Goal scorer Eduak was subbed off in the 86th minute for Kasimpasa while
Omeruo finished the game.
Kasımpaşa will be away to Kardemir Kara after the international break, while Buraspor will host Göztepe in a fortnight.
