Eduok’s brace fires Kasimpasa to victory in 5 goals thriller


Former defunct Dolphins FC striker Emem Eduok, put up a goal scoring show in Kasimpasa 3-2 win over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super League game played
on Friday night, at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi.

Eduak who started alongside Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo, dragged
Kasimpasa into the game twice after falling behind on two occasions, before Mbaye Diagne netted the winner three minutes from time, to complete the turn around and ensure three points for the home team.

Efecan Karaca put visiting Alanyaspor fc ahead in the 15th minute, but the lead only lasted seven minutes as Eduok finished off an assist from Strahil Popov, to restore parity.

On the stroke of halftime, Emre Akbaba put the visitors back in front from the penalty spot to go into the break with the lead.

Before then, Super Eagles central defender Kenneth Omeruo who is on loan
at Kasimpasa from Chelsea, was yellow carded in the 43rd minute.

Kasimpasa struggled to find the equalizer until the 71st minute, when Eduok came to their rescue once more.

Mamadou Fofana was sent off for the visiting Alanyaspor in the 82nd minute,
and Kasimpasa made their numerical advantage count when Mbaye Diagne netted
the winner in the 87th minute to put them ahead for the first time in the game, which turned out to be the eventual match winner.

Both striker Emem Eduok and defender Kenneth Omeruo, lasted the entire duration of the game.
