Former Celtic utility defender Efe Ambrose is most likely to face serious trouble from his Scottish club Hibernian FC after failing to report to camp as instructed by the club.
Ambrose who was pivotal in the club’s promotion from second division last season into the Scottish Premier League was given an extended break, but has gone on to take out more time without the permission of the club.
An unimpressed Hibs coach Neil Lennon has made it clear that Efe whom he nor anyone at the club are unable to get a hold of will face punishment from the club upon his return.
”There’s no sign of Efe so he is in a bit of trouble. I can’t get a hold of him at all. He was given a wee bit of time off but he is pushing the boundaries now,” Lennon said.
”The sooner he is back, for his sake, the better.
”It will be discussed behind closed doors so he’s got that to look forward to when he gets back.”
Efe Ambrose and Neil Lennon both worked together at Chelsea some seasons ago.
