Efe Ambrose’s Hibernian suffers Scottish FA Cup setback


It was a dramatic match between Hibernian featuring Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose and Aberdeen in the semi finals of the Scottish FA cup which was settled by an unfortunate owngoal.

Aberdeen raced to a two goal lead but Efe Ambrose and his Hibernian teammates refused to surrender and got their due equalizer in the second half.

An owngoal by Ambrose’s​ teammate in the 84th minute forced the Hibernian coach to make a late substitution with Ambrose coming of in the 87th minute as they chased a futile equalizer.

Ambrose and Hibernian then lost the match 2-3 to Aberdeen who now awaits either Rangers or Celtic in the finals.

Meanwhile, in the EPL, Isaac success came on as a 67th minute second half substitute for Watford who lost 0-2 to Hull city.

Everton and West Ham played out a 0-0 draw with Nigerian born England junior international Ademola Lookman coming on as a second half sub for Everton in the 46th minute.
