El-kanemi warriors midfielder, Isiaka Olawale has revealed that his side is in top gear to finish the season on a high as they welcome league title contenders, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry, MFM FC to their fortress in the last league match of the season at the El-kanemi stadium in Maiduguri.
The former Kwara United and Dolphins FC star disclosed to naijafootballplus.com that the threat that MFM FC will pose against the Borno Army will have no effect on them.
“We have heard series of things that MFM are coming to Maiduguri with full force and they are seeking victory against us to boost their chances of winning the coveted trophy but it won’t happen.
We are going to approach this game with utmost seriousness. This game is very important for us as well and our personality is at stake. We are still maintaining our unbeaten record at home, so no team is capable of beating us at home, not even MFM.
“Whoever knows Ladan Bosso will understand that he’s a man with integrity, good character and high profile.
He wouldn’t want anything that will dent his name. He told us to win and we are winning the game not because it’s the last match of the season alone, but because of what’s surrounding the game.
“I’m convinced we will put MFM FC to the sword. They won’t have any route to escape defeat. We are confident, determined and ready for all their antics.
We want to finish the season on a very high note”, the Super Sand Eagles captain concluded.
El-kanemi Warriors will play host to MFM FC who are seeking a win in Maiduguri to claim their first ever league title provided that Plateau United fails to win at home against last season champion, Rangers International FC.
