Emem Eduok scores as Kasimpasa hold Sivasspor to a stalemate

Former Dolphins forward Emem Eduok continued to prove his mettle in the Turkish Super League for Kasimpasa who also has Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo on their list.

Eduok on Saturday played a key role as Kasimpasa held their host Sivasspor to a 2-2 draw with the Nigerian grabbing his seventh league goal of the season.

The host opened scoring through Senegalese international Arouna Kone in the 13th minute, six minutes later, Eduok leveled the scores with a superb finish.

Emem, 24, was replaced in the 76th minute by Jhon Murrillo with the score level at 1-1.

Arouna Kone completed his brace for Sivasspor in the 86th minute and when it looked like the game will end in defeat for Kasimpasa another Senegalese player Mbaye Diagne leveled the scores in stoppage time to finish the game all square.

Defender Omeruo also gave a good account of himself in the titanic clash. With the points shared, Kasimpasa climb to 11th position with 31 points from 25 matches. Sivasspor remain 6th on the rable.
